Hi guys
Is there any way to set up the idle button to get the revs you want for charging batteries or to get shower water at the right temp.
I know I can always put something on the throtle cable but was just woundering if there was another way.

G'day i lean,
To bring revs up at idle, have motor idling, (neutral, handbrake on) turn on cruise control, press set, keep pressing increase to bring revs up........should do the trick, if no cruise control, 850rpm measured stick between the throttle and the dash does the trick.
Make sure alterator activates.

the cruise wont operate with the car sitting still,it needs to be doing 40k or so before it will work.the fast idle only works when the car is cold,it turns itself off when the temp rises slightly.so no joy with it working when its warm or sitting still!

G'day All
Yep, lesson learned, I am used to Cat, GM, Merc, Scania etc, we use cruise control to increase revs to build up air when hooking up trailers etc. Worth a try, All the best.

seems like lotz to learn about L'cruiser cruise control which cancels memory of settings at a speed below 40kph. TD100 has it right, what a bugga. Good to re-program it.
