Hi all, was just wondering what is the best option for getting dust out of headlights. Wasnt there before so obviously since my wife and I have been away very dusty road. I presume the best way is remove lights from vehicle and flush out with water. Might need to get a bottle brush or some thing in there to loosen up if cooked on from the heat of the lights ?? Or will this scratch the reflector ?? Was your thoughts. Regards Steve M

I gather they're semi-sealed units ...
Wash them out with metho-
rinse with a good sluice out with clean water-
and put them out in the sun to dry (with opening down to drain)..
I'd avoid a brush of any type in the first instance.
Good luck with it !!

I would check with an auto sparkie, metho may affect them. Also, leave opening UP when drying (in the sun) to make sure last bits of moisture evaporate.
