O/T : Telstra SMS domain name

No - the actual domain name.


I am working with a third party on a little project and they sent me this message:

"Contact your cellular provider and request the domain address for the sms (short message system). Such as 4089334400@vtext.net for verizon."

So I am hoping Telstra and Vodafone have something that resembles this format as their domain name for the actual sms service

Have you actually thoughy about contacting Telstra and asking them? Seems to me lthat it would be the logical thing to do. Good luck with it.

Yes I have - but unfortunately they aren't answering at 11:00pm on a Thursday night - and to be honest with you even if I talk to someone after battling the recorded numerical options intro I am not all that confident of getting a meaningful answer

I am sure I will get a pretty good answer from someone here - certainly before 8:00am tomorrow morning I bet :-)
