Hi all, Next month we are planning to return to
Robinson Gorge - our last visit to this park was in 1983. On that trip the track in from Bauhinia Downs was too difficult for our off road camper - the creek crossings were very short. They were ok for the 4wd but not the camper.
Just wondering if anyone had been in there recently with a camper from either the Bauhinia Downs side or the
Taroom side past
Lake Murphy.
Also any other interesting spots in this area.
Thanks for your assistance.
A J

Hi A J
We did that trip July07 in a Navara twin cab towing an offroad camper, camping at the Spotted Gum
campground.
Travelled in from
Taroom past
Lake Murphy and exited via Bauhinia Downs to
Rolleston (have a look at the Trek notes for
Expedition National Park). None of the roads or tracks were difficult or posed any problems. Where will be travelling from/to?
Chris

Chris & Debbie - we are actually travelling from central NSW to
Cape York and will do this as a part of a side trip - thanks for the up date.
Time is not a problem as we have three weeks to get to
Cairns.

Was fine at
Easter. The
camp grounds were very good compared to the last time I was there about 8 years ago. It was very dusty then, now it's pretty good.
The whole place look nice after the rain they've had.
