Yep, as of tomorrow I will have 8 day shifts,12 night shifts, 2 days training, 18 relatives arriving, our eldest daughters wedding, 18 relatives leaving, then a week later we leave for nine weeks on the Gibb River Road and places beyond, no itinerary just going. Can't wait. We did it in '05 by ourselves, missed a lot, this time we are going with friends with an 80 series with a cub camper. So if anyone is in the same place as us drop by for a beer. Haven't met anyone from EO yet. The sticker's on the camper.

Hope to meet some of our merry group at last.

Hi Gaz@Gove, Are you working for Bramalco in Nhulunbuy ? We've been there in 1984 ( bloody long time ago ) Had a fantastic trip in FJ 55 Station wagon crossing the mighty Goyder and claiming up the Rocky Jump-up. Ha good old days.. Wishing you a lovely trip and safe return. Enjoy it mate.Image Could Not Be Found

dedabato, Thanks, we intend to enjoy.
Gove is the same place, bit bigger now and we're Rio Tinto Alcan, for how long I don't know.
The track has changed a bit too, the creek crossings aren't as vicious, the 150 odd k's of bulldust are gone, but there's still a lot of corrugations to keep you awake.
The last time we did the Gibb River Road our track was worse than the GRR.

Gaz,

I'll on the GGR from 24/7 to 8/8 with a group of 6 vehicles, 3 with campers. I'll keep an eye open.
