97 troopy transfer noise

Some may remember my recent post on transfer case noises, dropped the oil out today and it was metalic gravy so it's looking like a rebuild, question, is there an
after market gear set, bearings etc (rebuild kit) available, if so where from and approx $.

might be cheaper to look around for second hand case young fella i know supposed to hed ad off around oz decided to do bearings in t/c when pulled to bits 1 gear and 1shaft stuffed $1700 for 2 bits $2000 for s/h box nearly had to cancel trip but i think they are back on track

Thanks for that but I should've mensioned that I'm in the mornington
peninsula area vic. anyone doing local change overs or does someone know good 4x4 mechanic down here. I'd like to steer clear of Toyota unless there's no other option.

I am in Canberra ring a mob called Autoco my mate got mine parts from there transfer case bearing kit 411.00 transfer case idle gear 603.90 I also reraced the main box 500.20 kit clutch400.00 plus labour all up a bit over 3000 Bat.
