Hi – we are looking to go on a 4 – 5 month trip round Aus, in the next few months. Though this could end up being longer, depends how we go along the way! We have 2 kids age 9 and 10, and will be home schooling. We don’t even know where we shall end up! At the moment after many hours traipsing round caravan sites we are down to the above 2 vans as options. We do want inside toilette and shower, with bunks and a made up queens bed. We have a towing capacity of 2500 ( Pajero auto). We do not plan to do off road but it would be nice to know that the caravan could take a little beating in order to reach some free campsites etc. Have read on this site that there seems to be an issue with Coromal’s warranty and off road useage. Are we naive to think it is possible to be on the road round Aus for that period of time without some off-road use? We are complete novices when it come to the tech aspects of exterior build/chassis etc. At the mo the price is pretty much the same for each van – not enough difference to sway a decision. We are currently in Perth and our budget is 55 – 60 thous, though would be happier paying a lot less!
I know a lot comes down to personal choice but if anyone has any positive or negative experience we would appreciate it, and we are open to other suggestions
Many Thanks
