A member of our family has a 1997 Daewoo Lanos 3door hatch which she is looking at selling. Both the drivers and passengers side sunvisors are worse for wear and look fairly ordinary. The sunvisors are just covered with some plastic and heat-sealed round the edges. The cover is aged and could be damaged by a careless repair.
The sunvisors are held on a metal shaft by a "spring" strip bent over the shaft.
Parts for the Daewoo dont seem so be still available.
Does anyone know how best to tighten them on their metal shaft without ruining the appearance, or a supplier that carries new sunvisor replacements for specific vehicles? I would like the finished job to look as close as possible to the original.

Have you checked your local wreckers?
