hi there,
can any one tell me the best place to buy a new starting battery for my GQ and what brand to buy?(dont want to spend a heap but rather get somthing reliable)i am in bayswater in victoria

Hi Archa, just bought a N70ZZL from supercharge for $150.00 from whatI hear they are a good battery and come with a 2 year warrenty,

Kmart have the dearest prices for Exide - $205 for the Extreme.
Supercheap have the Bosch version of the Century battery for about $200 as
well.
They both put the price up to the max, so people will think they're getting a bargain at their 20% off sales.

Last two Exide extreme N70 cost me $135 each, from
Adelaide Truck and 4wd, but that was 18 months ago - Kmart at the same time was about $170.
Sprint auto parts in
Adelaide had them advertised recently for about $170. Worth doing some phoning around on batteries. I've become a bit cynical of the prices at the "discount" stores.

I just bought a Delkor Battery 27H710, N70ZZL size, 710CCA starting battery from AusTrek Adventure Centre in
Mildura for $180 , and hope to get it tomorrow :)
