Garmin GPS 72 Tide data

Does anyone know how I might be able to get the Australian Tide Data onto my Garmin GPS 72 unit??

hi husky,
a great unit the 72 but the tidal info is only available for north america.

Tidal info for Australia is available on Garmins BlueChart Paciifc Mapsource product.

There is a program called WTides to run on Windows. Covers spot places all over the world and is well covered in Aust.
As with using tide data from the web, if your particular spot is not covered, you can extrapolate the tide for your area from two or more nearby listed locations.

Sounds interesting. I was hoping to get the data onto the GPS 72 as a reference thats all. I am not sure if the data can be downloaded to this unit or not...

Hey Husky,
I have a Garmin 76 and I think we're like dinosaurs with these units. I've investigated downloads, but no luck.
I still think my unit does all it needs to; don't go anywhere without it.
