Hi Guys (and Girls of Course) I thought a few of you Toyota owners maybe interested in the following
link. It is of particular interest to those looking at aftermarket performance products for their Cruisers. Blowers at this price is a real bargain in my eyes and a real option if you intend on turboing and i/cooling your cruiser anyway.
Hope it helps someone.
Regards, Trevor.

Except that they overload the harmonic balancer which lets go and trashs the front of the engine and engine bay. cost slightly more than the blower to repair the damage.

Is that just blowers on the 1HZ or blowers on all Toyota motors generally?
Is interesting point for anyone looking at doing this, so thanks for your knowledge.

Blowers on the 1HZ specifically, friend had a kit from WA which trashed the harmonic balancer twice without warning and eventually buggered the front of the crankshaft, very expensive!!

Hey Trevor,
I'm pretty sure that is the price that Sprintex have been advertising for quite some time (since I bought my first cruiser 4 years ago).
I compared this against an intercooled turbo set up and decided on the latter for various reasons, including Peters. Really liked the idea of all that low down grunt though...
Thanks for posting the link, it's always cool to re-read the info on what's out there for our vehicles!
Cheers,
Ross.

Thought this was cheap as when I looked into doing it to a 100 series I had 8 yrs ago they were 7500 bucks plus at that time anything up to 3 grand to fit as all brackets needed to be hand made "apparently".
After all your comments I am glad I never got it done and bought my GU instead.
I am sure this thread will help someone avoid the pitfalls of this install then and I am glad it has been brought up.
Cheers Trevor.

Thanks Sparra,
would seem wise to avoid a blower on a 1hz all together.
Cheers, trevor.
