KIWI KIA called in to say hello this morning en route to Diamantina Lakes. Very nice to meet Ray and very interesting to speak with. I hope he enjoys his trip up there. Interesting talking with him about 4wdriving in NZ also - the Club he belongs to has 300 members. He came up from Innamincka via Haddons Corner and along the newly-graded road into Birdsville.

I also found Ray very friendly on a recent trip to Wellington where he went out of his way to show us around the city sights etc. Nice bloke - pity he supports the All Blacks!!

Good on him , why not.
I still support the Highlanders too, just a pity they always get the officials that have just graduated from Aus. Schoolboy Rugby.
I did enjoy Reds V Crusaders at the weekend. What a brilliant defensive effort. Gets tough though when a team only has a League team to defend with.

Be careful now Warfer!
Don't give too much away.
Kati Moe Moe, Kati Tahu affiliations here, be careful.
They might learn the reason why Rugby happened. Place the ball over the line to score, not play defensive waiting for the REF to make a call or the drop goal chance. like soccer or AFL. To me that is like soccer or perhaps AFL. kick at the posts and hope.
I am sure this is getting O T but no doubt it will come up again at Innamincka, looking forward to it.
When are the Bledisloe cup games?.
Not that it matters, already know who will win.

I hope he didn't start every sentence with "in nooh zeland" like a Kiwi I had here. And he wasn't impressed with "Helen Click". The fact that we only saw a couple of roos and a camel on out trip out to Birdsville didn't help any either.
