At least there is some consistency to those figures.

They are all about 50c per litre dearer than current Melbourne prices.

Whether or not it costs that much to freight, I wouldn't know.

Jim.

Bit unfair on Diesel drivers

With the fuel cycle broken here in Melb for last two weeks its been interesting to watch how they have stabilized.

Best prices along the 20km of stud rd were at Safeway where we brought a stack of petrol for next trip.

Prices rounded were -->

Diesel 164 , ULP 138 , Gas 59

with 4c off + 4c extra for buying something this becomes

Diesel 156 , ULP 130 , Gas 51

So for the first time I can remember Diesel came in at an amazing
20% more than ULP (156/130= 1.2)

In my experience Three Ways is a rip off. Go the extra distance down to Tennant Ck and fuel is about 20-30c/LT cheaper.

Thanks,

Heading that way in a month or so.

Wasn't the cheapest last time we went through, neither was the Berkly roadhouse.

Planning to fill up at the Isa and see how far I get with 180 litres.

Should make Daly Waters hopefully.
