Not too sure if any of you still have a Toyota HJ75, but for those that have , are there any of you that have tried to fit a Delkor 27H 710 starting battery to the tray that comes with them . These batteries weigh in the vicinity of 25 kilos , and I am wondering what others have done to stop the damage that might be caused by the extra weight .

I do have a HJ75, getting on 19 years, and I would not worry about the small weight difference to a N70ZZ battery.
The battery box has a bottom support bolt as
well, not just the side bolts you see from above.

Thanks Klaus, yes my concern was if the fibre glass composition would last with the extra weight and (or) it would require strengthening at the brackets where it bolts onto the mudguard .
