Those buses were amazing. My wife went overland from Nepal to London on one of those with a company called Topdeck back in 1990.

They went thru a whole lot of places you'd think twice about now, like Iran, Kashmir and the Khyber Pass, as well as Pakistan...

A mate I havnt seem for many years now was a bus driver oo that rout and did it for years. Peter Berry was his name.

Interesting old vehicles Doug, Those old Leylands & AEC donks where a classic, You could count the revs when they were idling and were flat out at about thousand!..lol.
