Stolen Caravans

What they need Dougie is a central database like Vehicles,so when you go buy a Van (public) you can get the Vin number/chassis and look it up..
Maybe manufacturers can put there ones in production to and state the date when its ready...So if there is no such number or (shonky numbers/tampered with) well maybe some questions hav to be asked by Mr Plod..

I dont understand why they would not put pictures up of the other vans,people remember those,even the one @ the bottom of the page with the verandah with the red bit on the end and the rainbow colors on the base of the van, (looked at picture once) but it would stick in my mind travelling..
