Next G SIM card and receiving SMS text?

Has anyone found a way to receive a SMS message on an Iridium phone running on a Next G SIM card? I can send SMS fine but can't receive?

Which phone do you have?
Motorola 9500 can't send SMS no matter what SIM is in it, only receives.
9505 can send and receive using Iridium SIM. Can't help with any other SIM as I have a 9500.
