Diesel Mechanics

Does anybody know of a place in South Australia that provides classes/tuition on Vehicle Engine Mechanics (outside normal business hours as I work full time).

I can do the basic diesel service every 5000km (change engine oil, fuel and oil filters), but I would like to learn more than the basics to become more self sufficient if things go wrong. I know of the "basic engine mechanics course" provided through WEA, but are there any others that may be a bit higher level and provide more detail.
