Uncle, just read your latest blog. Sounds like a very interesting place, but where is it? You mention Well 10 - does that mean it is on the Canning Stock Route?

Oops , sorry I forgot to tick that box. Mertondale station is N, Nth west area from Leonora. Beautiful country. well no 10 was noted on the natmaps we are using. no its not on the Canning. Its just called well number 10 in that area on the maps.Image Could Not Be Found

thanks uncle. Looks good. Bit like an area we found a few years back, about 20km east of Cue - called granite Gardens, I think.

No worries Wendys, this place was ever changing scenery, one minute it was all granite breakaway type country, then it would go to just ironstone hills laden and strewn with quartz. we picked up 4 nuggets while out there as well. Take care on your travels unc.
