Talking to Willem this morning, they are getting ready for another
hard days slog, enjoying themselves.
They camped about 50km from Lake Mckay last night.
Weather is absbluddylootley beeeutifull, so I'm told...t-shirt, thongs and shorts:((((
6 punctures and busted/loose fanbelt yesterday.......who knows what today will bring..
Looking at 400kms of trackless desert to come......but I am sure
Willem will give a decent trip report when he gets
home. Estimate back in Alice at the end of the week.
Everybody is fit and
well and having a great time.................

G'day Willie,
AFAIK 5 other vehicles in addition to Willem.
I have a list.
Noel had intended to go, but not sure as he had some sort
of 'hiccup' just prior to departure.
I was supposed to be there with them too but the sale of our
business has been delayed.........at least I hope it is only a delay.....lol (very small lol that is, more like a sour grin.)
As to which desert, I would have to dig out the intended route which I don't have with me right now.

rockhole 2 kms west of Mt. Webb a few years back without success.

There is a real good
bore about 1km NW of MT Webb great tasting water. Just find the 1st track off to the right as you go past MT Webb traveling West.
