I use Lee Point for camping whenever I'm in
Darwin, mainly coz it's
well off the busy streets and highways away from traffic noise. A few k's out, but worth the distance.

Lee Point, Free Spirit (Palms), Hidden Valley is a newish one - very convenient. None is cheap. We also like the one at Howard Springs - bit out of town but sometimes easier to get into.

Hiya motor_head,
we stayed at the Shadyglen caravan park when we were up there two years ago. Very nice park, clean ammenities etc, also has mini bus pick-up/drop-off service to & from the park into town.
You can find the details below...

Cheers,
John

Hi Motor_Head
Lee Point is a bugger for sandflies, so if allergic I'd advise to go elsewhere.

We stayed at KOA Park in Malak, just a 15min. drive from
Darwin proper. Comfortable and reasonably priced. Metered power too. I paid $6.00 dollars for 10 days power. Google KOA for details. Cheers.
