Hi guys need some advice looking to take the family to Kalgoorlie next school holidays for a week we have a camper trailer so do you guys recommend staying in this up there for that time of year or getting a chalet? We have 3 kids... What are some nice parks to stay in etc and last of all any tips of things to see and do?

Any park that is not full
Things to see
the superpit
lookout, Mt charlotte
lookout, Hammond park, old buildings down the mai streets of Boulder and Kallgorlie
Miners hall of fame definitly the Museum with th headframe at the end of Hannon street.
Out back pub crawl Kal, Broad arrow, Oran Banda,
Rowles lagoon then the
Coolgardie pub,
Cave hill woodlines with an overnighter at
Burra roc

c'mon mate- you missed the
kookynie and
menzies pubs... 4 pubs is hardly a pub crawl. The
lake ballard statues and niagra
dam is worthwhile too.

Stayed at a park there in 05. I think it was a big four.
It was okay. Don't have any others to compare to but I'd stay there again.
Outback parks are different to parks in
places with abundant water though.
Don't forget the miners hall of fame, the gouder curtain at the Boulder Town Hall, the skimpys at the pubs if you can sneek away from the missus for a pint...
We did a tour that picked us up from the caravan park which was great - local knowledge is always good.
Pretty sure we went underground on a tour too.
The tour of the Langtree's Brothel is an eyeopener too. Highly recommended.
I could spend a few more days in Kal. I'll definately go back some time.

Skimpys havnt been worth seeing since the coppers stopped tossing and exposed G strings,
they cracked down on 14 year old skimpys as
well - but that was probababally fair enough
