Hi everyone,
My 18 year old daughter who is on a traineeship wage of $350 oo a week is up for tyres on her Magna 2001 and was given a quote on Nexen tyres and they are cheaper than others. Now I know you get what you pay for but has anyone had any experience with these tyres and if so could you give us some feedback please. I have done a google but didnt come up with much. Thanks heap
Barbara

I've been watching the feedback on tyres and posts on the Nexen's have been good. They don't last as long as some types but since rubbers harden over a few years you want to replace them for safety anyhow if bitumen driving so my next set will be Nexen's. Pending of course any posts that may follow indicating the contrary from personal experience.

I have had a good run from this brand tyre...they lasted longer than alot of others on my car.....you could go alot worse, the thing to ask a tyre seller is which tyre is cheap but never gets returned for warrenty...if they are any good, they will steer your daughter straight.

I have Nexen AT tyres on my Gu Patrol but only for about 2 months. A bit soon to make a judgement but they seem ok up to now. Nothing like a 2001 magna. Your call.

I have used Nexen Tyres on my BA Falcon and have had no drama's with them getting 60'000 Klm out of one set.
Am now on 2nd set still no drama's good road holding and grip wet or dry.
would buy them again.
