i am looking for members comments on these vans - good or bad. do they really stand up to reasonable off road conditions ?? i am thinking of buying one.

Eddie, not First hand, but I was very impressed with their appearance and I had a good look at one at
El Questro last year. On the wayback from
Mitchell Falls I was talking to the people at
Drysdale River Station and they were telling me about the Eco (sounded like the same one from the week before from
El Questro) They needed to make MAJOR repairs to the
suspension - just not built for corrigated
Kimberley roads. There again its probably the worst road in Australia.

thanks Trekkie, i will proceed slowly - ECO have an option of an ARB heavy duty
suspension - perhaps that tells you something. i notice that you have a
Kimberley Kamper and like it - i have also b a Kamper model which seems to be tough also.
