I recently put in the GFSI system. Still getting the tuning right but it certainly increases power and torque. No improvement in fuel economy yet but the ratio of LPG to diesel is obviously wrong at 1:3. It should be 1:5.
I didn't do it for economy entirely though. The gas means a cleaner burn so less soot which means less pollution of the atmosphere and the engine oil. Cleaner engine oil means fewer oil changes and less engine wear. The other reason I did it was to increase range. And I love gadgets.
The fitting is a work of art. I have one 20 L LPG cylinder but could add another.
If you are doing it to save money forget it unless you are driving over 100,000 ks a year. But there is more to life than just money.
I don't know the
Melbourne fitter but the GFSI website will give you a name.
