Nic I (NSW)
Can any Patrol
forum users help me get past my my registration problem ?
When completing the questions at
http://www.patrol4x4.com/forum/register.php
I can't see anything in the image verification box.
I've tried relaxing all the firewall and internet security settings, allowing all sites and cookies and pop-ups, but still no image.
I emailed the
forum's email address, but have had no reply after nearly a week.
Does anyone have any ideas ?

There has been a problem for a while now, As yet they have not been able to give an answer when it will be fixed.
Looks like it only affects new registrations.... If you are already a member all seems normal.

Ahah, so it wasn't me ! Thanks for the info.
Looks like I'll have to wait a bit, unless of course this is a way of holding the member list to its current number !

Yep, I had the same problem, and the same lack of response. I gave up long ago. This is a much better
forum!

Hi,
Exactly the same happens for me on that site, emailed the problem ...no reply.
About a month ago now, still waiting.

This is a great
forum Ti TRol, but for specific Patrol stuff you get more info on the Patrol
forum. It's a shme they can't sort it out. I must have been one of the lucky ones as i had no troubles.

Hi Nic I,
I have raised this on the patrol yahoo list and they are aware of the problem. They just don't seem to have the knowledge or maybe the time to fix it, so i'm told.
It is in hand and i have decided to leave it for a year or so and just use the yahoo lists and EO.
The moderator isn't real big on replying to queries so it makes me question the value of the
forum to him in any case. Any info about the
Forum rego problem have come after asking other members who have PM'd him and got back to me. (Thanks to Truckster and Ben).
I am sure there are some knowledgeable folks there from what i've been able to read but you don't really have to join unless you need to contribute.

I waited 8 months -- sent off about 20 emails without a single reply ..... gave up
guess they have enough members to not be bothered replying to any new memberships

I also have been waiting for several weeks to register. The moderator's (online name is Link) thread describing the problem is now nearly two months old so fixing it doesn't seem to be a high priority. I'd like to be able to do thread searches but I don't think I can unless I'm a member. Hope it's fixed soon. Cheers. Rob.
