Not sure why you need the store to go there? We were there a few years ago and only went to the store for some ice as we planned to be self sufficient.

We in mate's Patrol and were towing a boat as well.

Make sure you fuel up at Alligator River (Cahill's Crossing) and maybe carry a few jerrys to be on the safe side.

What sort of vehicle do you have and how much fuel does it carry?

There is no fuel at the border store any more, so your last chance to fuel up is Jabiru or Oenpelli , I would suggest Jabiru, remember no alcohol to be taken across the river.

There is so much more to see up there than the shop.

Cheers Steve.

Hi Steve
Do you mean no grog can be taken into Cobourg?
Cheers Lyndon

You can drink it in Cobourg, you just can't take it there via Oenpelli through to cobourg.

Cheers Steve.
