Hey guy's, i recently purchased a coromal offroad camper, can anyone tell me what wheel bearing's and brake shoes these things have (holden or ford). Also how do i get to the winch and cables to service them, the manual say's remove cover, WHAT COVER?? Is it the small cover where the winch handle goes. CHEERS.

Motor head,

I have the coromal pioneer silhouette . In terms of break shoes and bearings, it might be best to pull a wheel off and have a look. The bearings that mine take are nskL68149 (heavy duty ford).

To service the winch, assuming yours is the newer shape, under the rear seat cushion, unscrew top panels there and you will find the winch and cables.

Thanks Paul, mine is magnum 280 which has the seats either side but least now i know where to start looking, CHEERS.

Yep re Paul's comment re having a look - what people tell you and what you may find at the roadside when you have a breakdown could be quite different - had the same issue for my trip prep (diff camper) so I took them out and noted the part numbers).

Yeah guy's, thanks for wakeing me up, the silly part is i have to repack them anyway derrr, my problem is i'm getting over an operation and cant do anything strenuous for another 2 weeks and we leave in 3 weeks to explore NT and i still have LOTS to do, obviously i'm in panic mode and trying to save a bit of time somehow somewhere cause where i live i cant just pop down to the shop's for spares and repairs etc. Cheers and thanks again.
