Morning all,
When we leave
Innamincka we are headed to
Birdsville, then around Lake Eyre and towards
Alice Springs - by the time we get there the Nissan will need a service i.e. - oil and filters change. Anyone in Alice recommend a place where I can get that done at short notice - I'll have the filters but not the oil.
PS - Diesel here in
Tamworth is at $1.85.9 yesterday. I paid $1.65.9 in CaneToad land last week sob sob.
This time in 5 weeks we will be on our way to
Innamincka WooooooooHooooooooooooo.

A "Hairy" bloke may be able to help you out but be warned that he is a Cruiser driver as
well as a Queensland supporter so you will be in for an education LOL

Thanks for the name and address/phone number. As I posted - I'll have the filters but don't want to carry the 20 litre drum of oil for 5000k's - just as easy to pay someone else to do the job and dispose of the waste oil for this trip.
I'll let the business know they come recommended.

They do a first rate job. Speaking to quite a few people up in the Alice, and they speak very highly of them and I was told that they do quite a lot of work for the local communities, for the one reason is that they get a good job done the first time round.
