Hi all, this is my first post to the
Forum. I recently bought a 1976 Landcruiser (model above) and was wanting to know the capacity of the fuel tank. The tank is installed under the driver's
seat. No other fuel tanks are fitted. Also, would anyone know if I can obtain an owner's manual (not service and repair manual) for this model? Does Toyota still publish manuals or not?
Thanx.

From memory it was around 60 litres. When I owned my 1976 shorty I bought a long range tank for it. It ran under the driver's
seat, across the transmission tunnel and under the passenger
seat. It filled from the original filler. Capacity 120 litres. Funny looking back to have that much petrol inside the cabin!

It seems almost pointless having an ash-tray inside the cabin LOL!
Thanks for the info.

Try going to
http://www.outerlimits4x4.com, then the Landcruiser
forum, then at the top is the Cruiser Bible where there is a great deal of specific information.
