Hi All
I am looking at going across the
Plenty Highway from
Boulia, on to
Alice Springs and doing the off road trek through Hermansberg and on to Ularra and seeing the usual sights.
I would be going next week which coincides with the school holidays. Are the camping areas and roads likely to be so packed that it would be better to wait for another opportunity or is it worth going anyway.
Thanks
Paul

No rain - no worry!!!
Plenty stands for plenty campsites. A couple of station campsites on the way if you want a shower or dunny. I did Hermansberg to
Kings Canyon and stayed there and then another easy day trip to Uluru. You won't find it too busy at this time of the year.
Cheers

Hi
Its a good trip. Reasonable camping at the river crossings. Don't miss the sound and light show at
Boulia, one of the better ones around. Also, the camping ground behind the Harts Range race course was excellent 2 years ago. Interesting
fossicking in the area. Gem tree a good place for a couple of days.
Won't be busy but tires get a hammering so take 2 spares, take it easy and reduce pressures
