Evening all,
Still trying to collect prizes / gift bags for the gathering - esp for the kids who will be attending. I have an opportunity to get some "show bags" from the Murray Darling Basin Commission for nix so can anyone who is attending give me an idea of how many kids will be there - I'd like to be able to give every kid (little ones not you big kids) a "show Bag".
I know Kiwi / Nathan will have their 3, Sir Kev /Sam with theirs but no idea who else will be bringing the ankle biters along and I don't think bottles of red wine is a suitable prize for the kids LOL
This time in 5 weeks we'll be there wooooooohooooooo
Cheers

Kev, you realy do get worser & worser & worser. The only thing that could be worser is if you had of referred to the "Kingdom of Qld". Now that would be worser than anything imaginable!! LOL

Nick, The theif last year was closer to
home than I would have ever thought possible so no trap would have caught this guy as it was done right under my own nose, bloody mongrel hehehe.
Bonz, the flag has been replaced with a nice shiny new one as seen in the West Kunderang gathering earlier this year. It sits above a "bloody big" flag pole and is most difficult to steal this one.
Regards to you both and hope to see you at Innaminka.
Trevor.

Trevor I do not think that you have estimated the flagnappers skills enough. I happen to be fully cognisant of said nappers true identity and no pole, be it bloody big or not, will foil him/her.
Warning has been issued.

Hey Bonz,
I have seen the "pole" and believe me it is big - read high - so said flag napper will need stilts to get to the flag. At West Kunderang King Cane Toad even tied the guard dog to the pole. I look fwd to seeing if the flag lasts the distance.
Cheers

Morning all,
Thanks for all the helpful comments from Sir Kev and Kiwi. I still have no idea of how many kids are coming along so will grab about a dozen of the "show bags' and keep fingers crossed that no little ones miss out.
PS Raining here - 20mm so far
Cheers

Take care and see you there.

I'll be there on the 29th June on my way over to the
Hay River so will also see if I can leave some cut and stacked wood in the reserve for you guys with an exploreoz sign on it!! It's a shame I couldn't align the dates with the "assembly" but hopefully next time. For any VKS members I would be happy to receive selcall's on 7147 to get an update on how things are going.

Then i shall bring a box with an unknown quantity of things .They will be in a box with a feature window just to make it harder. I will get my little girl to count them, put the number in a sealed envelope, and pass that on to you at the gathering.I will not know the answer either.
