anyone see that absolute Moron Iidiot on TV 7 News tonight that had his 4x4 with tanks on the back stranded in flash flooding in SE Qld.
The comments that came from him were unbelievable .
I can't work them out, really , you can't tell me every one in Qld didn't see the results of trying to drive through fast flowing deep water from the last lot of flooding in
Ayr, Townsville, and the SE Qld area just a few months ago, all I could say was seve him bloody right.
Hope the link works
,
Idiott on TV

His comments were very Australian I thought just making a bit of humour out of a bad situation:-) Having being involved in a major flood hundreds of people cross rivers of that depth all the time for any number of reasons. Can't say they were all morons as many were emergency
services. These 2 fella's were probably just following others across & simply guilty of not be fully prepared. (
Snorkel)
Alls
well that ends
well :-)
Cheers Craig.................

He was just being a smart &ss when interviewed. I suspect that he was happy to be alive and getting his 15 seconds of moronic fame.
A bit like a certain sunglassed kid in Victoria.
Maybe he thought it was a lreality (something he appears to have a distinct lack of) show.
The news didn't help by cutting his interview short on a couple of occasions. He actually said that next time he'd go around.

Doug
Yep, 'they walk among us' , these oxygen theives.
What made the head shake was that he knew what a
snorkel was, knew he didn't have one, but still went in!!!
Happens every year in
cairns (as you'd know). The Freshwater roundabaout goes under, so you pop down & watch all the oxygen theives drive around the roadblock & drown their "4wd's".......
cheers
Mark

Could it be just a combination of the wet weather and Bannana Benders. Seems that similar acts of stupidity occured during a similar wet period during the summer months. Vehicles flooded, people swept away in swollen rivers and so on.

Seems perfectly normal to me. Same as the toyota guy towing the boat across the flooded
bridge that was doing the round last month or so. Life is full of small drownings
