Has anyone been to the caravan show in
Brisbane yet? How is it this year we are travelling up to have a look our son is comming back from Iraq and wants to look for a swag. He had to leave his over there bartered it to a Yank soldier. They didnt know what one was but was impressed. He organised for most of the guys in his section to buy one to take over so they didnt have to sleep on the ground when they were out on patrols in the desert. He says it was
well worth it and will do it again even if he has to leave them behind. They had a biker one that would fit on top of their packs.

Hi Barb I went in yesterday and while I wasn't looking for swags I am sure that I spotted some there. Even if you didn't get a swag there it is still worth the effort to go in and there was so much to see - I'm even going back on the weekend to see what I missed yesterday!

It is a bit like that there is usually so much to see you really cant do it in one day, was there any improvement in the food available, we usually take our own as it is usually show type greasy food and expensive

The caravan that is a boat looks really impressive, haven't got to the show but it was in the local paper.
Launch it into the estuary or set up at the caravan site.
Personally I'd prefer a sway and a tinne but maybe if i won lotto ...

Sadly no I didn't find any improvement with the food at all. Much better to take your own!
