Yes - I know but I am just checking with Hema to be 100% sure before I tell the world so to speak. Will advise when I get a reply.

There's an ad in the current 4X4 Australia mag with a price of $990.

I believe that David is actually checking on the immense discount available to EO members... surely that must be it.

Our understanding is that distributers must sell it for the same RRP but we have ways to make our deal more attractive don't we?

Whoops! This is what I have been holding out for. Only problem - I just bought the HP IPAQ 312 (see my post id57687).

Still $445 is cheaper than $900+

One thing I would want (which the PC version doesn't do) is that you can run both autorouting SW & OziCE at the same time. With trhe desktop, you have to turn off one before running the other.

I hear they are looking into this. Hopefully it will happen soon...

I was meant to write 60c running Ozi,

the older rx5965 will run TomTom and OziCe at the same time , a few on here already do that

the Hema Navigator is seriously over priced. Hema Navigator is a Mio C520 which can be bought for under $350, add Oziexplorer CE $40, 2Gb SD card $25, another $100 for maps makes $515. Another $500 for packaged product is ripoff.

Heaps topo maps can be downloaded free at Geoscience

The Mio C520 can be loaded with Oziexplorer and works great and you have a full PDA. Details to convert Mio C520 can be found on post on GPS Australia
OziexplorerCE ver available at Oziexplorer website
