We're heading up to Cooloola for a bit of camping, anyone know of any good spots?

Search for info on the area on this site,,, theres some useful stuff... if you're looking for beach style camping theres a few spots along Cooloola Beach and if you go across Leisha Track, between the
Cherry Venture wreck and
Double Island Point, you can drive up to
Rainbow Beach... the
Rainbow Beach caravan Park is excellent place to stay, we have been there twice and love it! Further north up the beach is
Inskip Point and theres some great beach camping there too.. and you're also a $20 barge trip from Fraser Island..... :-)
Have a great trip!

you are actually a $60 barge trip from fraser plus a $30 permit is required, kinda takes it out of the realm of a day trip.
Have a look at
Harry's Hut on the upper
noosa river, no driving to be done, take a canoe or inflateable and just relax.

Harry's hut is very nice spot you can get vehicle access off the cooloola way ideal if you can take a canooe with you and lanch it from
harry's hut there is a good launching
jetty there.
