Evening all,
Planning a trip for mid next year. Found a note on an old map about a Vehicular ferry between Karumba and Weipa. I have been to the cape before and thought this may be something different but having trouble getting info. Does any body know of such a service ?
Thanks
Graeme

Gulf Freight Services operates weekly vehicular barges from Weipa to Karumba in Gulf Country. Phone 4069 8619 or 1800 640079

Hey Guys,

I was up that way last year & was told that the 'passenger' side of that service is no longer operating.

Cheers

You could Google "Seaswift" for another option to travel to the tip.
We did it in 2003 a great trip.
Cheers
