Not so much a question , but for those of reasonable mechanical knowhow , i bought a seal kit , centrepopped a mark on both engine timing case and pump housing ,removed pump ,very carefully disassembled the pump making sure to measure protrusion of governor shaft accurately and not to alterany other adjustments (ie idle speed ,full load screw etc.). whilst the pump is a little complex, with care and cleanliness, using the exploded view that comes with the kit it can be done,my 1992 pajero, now idles and runs smoother and more economically. Ps.I have since located a genuine Toyota hilux engine manual, circa 1984 , part no. 36251E which also covers pump overhaul in detail...Heres hoping this may be of help to some weary travellors out there. from Olmech.
