Hi All,
I am contemplating running three 38ah 12v SLA batteries in parallel in my camper trailer for lights etc... I was thinking of making this a semi permanent set up with plugs at strategic locations to save having to change / move batteries as they discharged. I was also thinking that if I did this, I could probably run a charging set up from the 4wd to charge them while we travelled. I was wondering though, if they would charge properly in this configuration, provided that I used sufficiently heavy cable from the 4wd (fused of course).
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Regards, db...

you wont need to "change/move batteries" in this configuration as they discharge. Only thing really to watch is that A/ they are similar batteries B/ if there is long cables between them, volt drop will cause the closest to do most work.
