G'day All,

Can anyone advise me if the DC power connector which plugs into the Waeco CF80 is available as a spare part anywhere? (Obviously it would have to be a non standard Waeco product as the original plug is a sealed unit). I would prefer to make a complete new power lead myself with probably a clipsal 2 pin plug / socket rather than the useless cigarette lighter arrangement, rather than butcher the existing one or buy a new one to butcher. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

flyboy,

Try Ray's Outdoors, I picked up a lead from them and put another fitting on the back end. They might be able to supply what you want.

You can buy the cable as a seperate item.

I got one a while back from a Waeco dealer.I fitted a Merit plug to one of mine as I have both types i the back of the car and the cigarette lighter one comes loose on rough roads.

Go to the Waeco website to get all the info you need.
