Hi All,

Has anyone experienced this problem.
I own a 3.0 LTD GU and whilst driving on rough roads the engine light comes on when I hit a really rough path and switches off when I slow down or the terrain becomes smother. The light doesn't stay on long enough to extract a code, which I have tried with the code coming up clear.
Any help would be appreciated.

Paul

Water in the fuel filter?
The handbook says to drain the filter if the engine light comes on.

Similar to me. I find if I am on a corrugated road the engine light flickers. It is more so on a sweeping right hander! Also no fault codes registering and no fluid in the water trap! The light doesn't stay on and as mentioned it just flickers. Gave up worrying about it!

Thanks for the replies,
I've had the vehicle since new and it has over 180,000 on the clock,
I have been off road on many occasions including highway one in the Gulf country without the engine light ever coming on. So I don't think its a feature but more maybe a lose plug/wire or something else.

Thank again.
