Has anyone out there used the Shuttle Chef? My husband and I are going on a 3 month camping holiday and have just heard about this type of cooking. It looks great but would like to hear some comments first before outlaying money for one. Also is there anything else similar to this worth thinking about.
Thanks Heartbeata.

We've got both. They do a different job. Both do it well. One roasts, the other stews.
If you google thermal cooking you can see a number of similar cookers to the shuttle.

Heartbeta,
we have z shuttle chef and really like it we had a dreampot but sold it to buy a shuttle chef as in mho they are a better product the saucepan bit is of a much thicker metal so the food doesnt stick as much and they keep hotter longer. I really love ours as you can put you meal on go do something and come back to a cooked meal, good if you are driving and arrive late. I ALWAYS USE OURS ON THE FIRST DAY ESPECIALLY IF WE ARE LEAVING AFTER work (sorry for the cpitals not shouting)
BARB

When I said we have both, by this meant that we have both a Cobb Cooker and a Thermos Shuttle!!
