Di and I are leaving cold SA on Monday for the top end for a few months in
Darwin followed by a side trip to
Broome.
We intend to go to Roxby and then onto Dalhousie and Mt Dare and then call into
Chambers Pillar and then the Alice.
North of the
Devils Marbles we hope to call into Kurundi Station which is owned by a friend of a cousin.
Darwin to
Broome late August via GGR and back on the tar to
Darwin and then
home (
Adelaide) by late November.
So if you see us driving a Prado with a
Kimberley Karavan and a Porta Bote and being guided by a Garmin 60 xcs stop and say hello.
If anyone has info on Kurundi and environs I would appreciate it.
Hope to see you on the road.
M.

Gday,
If your going to Kurundi, you should call into
Old Police Station waterhole (Policemans
waterhole).
Instead of turning off after
Wauchope into Kurundi you could turn east after
Barrow creek and go through Hatches creek. A little further but a really nice drive.
Here is a link to map and some photos....
