Hi has anybody had any experience at replacing the cable in a wind up camper????

Ray, Sorry to say this, but had a cable snap many moons ago on an old jayco. It was a pain in the behind to repair. Had to just about dismantle the whole of the inner skin of he camper just to get access to the cable!

I have replaced the winch and cables in a Jayco Dove. The actual connections were fine, it was running the new cables that was "interesting"

We had an eagle, as we wound it up it started to moan and groan before we traded to a pop top. We looked in at that maize and walked out again. Good luck
