Evening all,
I'm am borrowing a Codan NGT to fit to my Nissan but the instruction book does not seem to exist anymore. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get hold of the basic's of the operators manual?? Don't want all the tech stuff - just how to drive the thing. I do understand the general workings of HF but on older models like 8528's etc
C'mon Footy - can you help??

I have a getting started manual and the Reference manual on Cd if u need a copy let me know can copy and post the CD

I will be borrowing an HF set myself and the CD would be very handy in the truck when out and about.

The manual is only of limited use. It really depends what profile it's been programmed with and who set it up as to what you need to know to operate it.
Who programmed the set and set it up originally?

Had it reloaded with Aust Rec Vers 5.6 So as to be able to use the Instruction pack from Lake Maquarrie Communications
Had it done in Brissy. Cost $80

That would have to be the most expensive bit of laminated cardboard available. Having said that it is good though.
LM Comms profile is a modifed version of Lara Electronics profile.
Mine's a LM Comms profile but it's got bugs in it such as not coming off scan in voice mute mode no matter how strong a signal is available.
Mine will be going to Lara sometime soon for a new brain insertion. ie reprogram.

It originally came from Lara Electronics via a second party.
When I got the Lake Maquarrie Pack I found it had an older version so got it upgraded which cost me the $80.
Also paid ??? for the LMac pack but I got 3 laminated bits of carboard LOL
Also got the guide to HF and some other stuff about Radtel etc
