After eight years of having a 130 trayback landrover as a work ute and a tug for the caravan, I am starting to get a case of landrover Diarrhoea!. Its not that its been a bundle of trouble, quite the opposite actually!, Its the fact as i'm getting older iam starting to detest! working on vehicles of any discrption. One time i would stay up all night tinkering around and just looking for problems!, but not any more. What i want now is the 100% trouble free , non fuel user, no depreciation what so ever, Cheap outlay, with all tax benefits, More power than its competitors, work ute!!, So, do i just carry on the same??....Lol.
Cheers Axle.

Just get a new 130 landrover - there is simply no other choice - unless you are after mediocrity.

If you are referrring to that red thing in your profile.....then tell us a bit about it ???
I like the concept ( especially the Rubicon...pity no diesel ) but how is the wind noise ( compared to say a Prado or Pajero ?? )
Has anything fallen off it yet ?? They used to have a bad name for it ..
Would you be happy to cruise along the highway for a 1000K's in it ??

You can get the diesel sport with the the sway bar disconnect option now.
I was surprised at the relative quietness of it, I was expecting it to be anything but and there has not been a single thing go wrong. i was interested in the Defender but was just too exy for me.
It has stability control, roll mitigation, ABS and dual front air bags etc and with the Renegade option a FABULOUS sound system iPod compatible. If you like a Defender I think the Wrangler, now it has euro polish, is the logical tough replacement.
Just
check it out, as they say, every trip is an adventure in one, if its not I think its time to roll over and turn up the toes.....
cheers Gronk

Some days I'm glad I got out of my 130 Single cab and some days I'm not. Land Rovers are like that.
Jeep are thinking about a extra cab ute, may come next year.
In Rubicon trim would be a good thing.
