Is there a better replacement cluch to use other than a Toyota cluch , something extra good , or just go with the genuine ?
I have had an after market cluch fitted once before aprox 3 years ago , it now rattles on idle .
please help before i go with an original .

they make a 'heavy duty 'clutch, the same as they use in the turbo 6's . i dont know if this will help. i wouldnt be concerned about the rattle, they will all eventually do it. the sides of the clutch plates rattle against the housing , maybe a stronger pressure plate will help but all the heating and cooling will give the spring less tension and let the plates rattle anyway.
just a thought, maybe i am wrong, just something to consider.

Stick with the genuine, they are a good clutch, remember to have your flywheel machined when and if you change the clutch.
I am running the original clutch on my 89 troopy and that is with the extra torque of the 6.5l chev diesel.
Have a safe one
