Hi all, sometime last night an 18'6" 2002 Jayco (full van) was stolen from a carport in a back street in Kardinya,
Perth.
The owners were asleep in the house and never heard a thing. The van didn't have a lock on it but had chocks at the wheels and was apparently a tight squeeze in the carport.
The people had just returned
home from a trip up through the centre and down the West coast with friends of our and had unpacked most of their gear.
Just imagine waking up in the morning and going out to find the van gone, how heart breaking would that be, the gall of some people.
If someone out there saw anyone hooking up a van at a weird time last night in that area I would love to hear about it.
Cheers

"Rotten Mongrals"....comon Royce..thats not the spirit!
Maybe they needed it more than the owners,
Maybe they cant afford their own,
Maybe the didnt have a good childhood.
It sounds like a good dose of councelling is in order.
Cheers

Hi Royce, I agree with the term "mongrels". I am waiting on a photo to come through, apparently the stone guard stuffy on the front of the van is a bit torn but will try and post the photo when it comes. Thanks for reply.

Here is a photograph of the van, it is a
Heritage van (they are fairly common over here so would be hard to pick on the road) and the rego is 1TDS 009 (not that it will be still on the van)
Hope this
pic works,
Cheers

Hi, I know that it isn't a very clear
pic that is why the rego was added even though it probably would have gone by now, I am trying to get it improved. Thanks for the reply.

I'm heading across the Nullarbor tomorrow. We'll keep our eyes open.
Get the police to contact the people at the Border Village at
Eucla and the Quarantine Inspection station at
Ceduna.
I've noted the plate details.

and contact the other police stations near where it happened...
actually telling police officers helps them far better than relying on them to troll-thru thier centralised systems
it not like that sit on a pc all day reading reports - they have lives....

Hi zacc, thanks for the reply, the van is a normal run of the mill Jayco
Heritage and doesn't have any distinctive marks on it, it does however have the stone guard matting on the front of it ripped but that would be a bit hard to pick up just driving along.
Thanks for keeping an eye out.
Cheers

Hi again zacc, the number you mentioned is D 70262. There could also be a bit of damage on the bottom left hand side because as the thieves drove out they hit a 2foot wall and damaged it so there must be some sort of damage on that side of the van albeit low down. Apart from the damaged stone guard sheeting on the front that seems all that we have.
Thanks again for the interest.
Cheers
