Hi guys, I have a problem running Natmap on my XP puter. It says its blocked an active X control. So I allow the control but Natmap simply bleep s down when I get to a certain point.
Now I know that this has got to be something pretty basic...but having put up with it for a long time I'm now not too proud to ask fo help.
What's the go, anyone know?
TIA

Footloose,

I see from your later post that you have been onto the Geoscience Australia site. They have information on NATMAP 2003 issues.

I have the same version, but have VISTA on my PC. I think that VISTA has similar issues because when I changed over I discovered problems with NATMAP. However if you have OziExplorer you can import the maps into that program and view the index map etc. I have done just that and converted a number of the maps to use on a PDA. I have ordered a copy of the 2008 issue that has been pending for six months or more! The old 2003 maps are a bit of a dog's breakfast!

Thanks Kingo, I agree about the dogs breakfast ! I'll give the patch a go and see if it works with the 2003. The 2008 version should be much better, I might order a copy.

The Natmap page tells me it might be an IE7 problem and I am downloading a patch...I'll let you know how I go with it.
