I purchased and Icecool Esky early last year (50ltr). Good for keeping all stuff cool but just a note to let you know that although they say the plastic handles are unbreakable (on their web site), they are not. With just the average use at
camp and out on the boat fishing, picked it up with a load of ice in it the other day and it stayed on the floor, both hinges have since broken. All appear to be a result of UV Damage as the plastic has gone very brittle and powdery. Only place I could find these to replace was their web site, but at $10 a Handle & Hinge thats $40.00 to repair. No supplier of these eskys up here seem to keep them. I have no reply to an email sent to them about this problem. Regards to all - Tony

Funny about that, I have a broken catch on mine and I emailed them early last week and still have no reply.
Is their system down?

Assume that they were pretty busy with the Caravan and Camping Show in Briz last week. Call em and see.
Id be very surprised if you ever have a problem getting service from any of these manufacturers these days.
cheers

I have the 150 Litre one that has 2 handles on each side. Loaded up you need two to lift it and even though I think the handles would break with the strain, they haven't. I don't leave it sitting in the sun though, always put it in the shade or have a tarp over it.
Cheers,
Mark.

Give them a call as
well as email. I had problems with the hinges and could not have been happier with the service. Sent new ones without charge, no problem at all.

Coolman. Thanks for that, looks like I caught them at a bad time, will pursue all advice posted and let you know if I too have success. Would not like to give a bad report if they are good on the follow up. Regards Tony
